SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS for ACTION PISTOL RANGE

ALLOWED FIREARMS and AMMUNITION for ACTION PISTOL

Welcome to Action Pistol!

-We shoot the 2nd, and 4th Friday of the month from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (weather dependent).

-Action Pistol (AP) is open to club members and to the general public.

-When you arrive, please sign in and pay your $5 range fee.

-Action Pistol is an opportunity to get together with other like-minded shooters, have loads of FUN and to challenge yourself with new shooting skills.

-Each shoot will begin with a range safety briefing that covers; the basic rules for safe handling of your firearm while you are on and off the AP range, a review of the range rules and RSO commands.

-Please bring your pistol (no rifles), holster (not required, but your pistol needs to be in a bag/case when brought to the firing line), extra mag(s) or speedloader(s).

-Shooters will have the opportunity to engage steel plates and gongs, pop-up reactionary targets, Texas Star and dueling tree type targets while shooting from a stationary position or while engaging the targets on the move.

-Pistols typically chambered in 9mm, .45 ACP and .40 S&W are used during the event. Pistols chambered in lighter calibers like the .22 are also used but may not necessarily knock over the steel plates.

-This is not a formal competition, so you will only be competing against yourself or your shooting buddy.๐Ÿ˜Š

-Please refer to the Action Pistol Range Rules above for additional information.

We looked forward to seeing you on the AP range!
